Job description

Role: CAD Technician
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum
Location: South Sheffield
Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:00am-4:30pm, Friday 8:00am-2:00pm
Contract: Office-based, full-time

We are seeking an experienced CAD Technician with a strong background in Architectural Metalwork for the construction industry. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team where you'll be involved in producing detailed technical drawings and supporting the delivery of high-quality metalwork projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce 3D models using AutoCAD and Advanced Steel
• Prepare general arrangement drawings and detailed fabrication drawings
• Apply strong knowledge of steel and aluminium fabrication, including welding
• Work closely with Contracts Managers and client teams to meet project requirements and deadlines
• Carry out site measurements as required

Skills & Experience Required

• Proficient in AutoCAD (Advanced Steel experience is desirable)
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Dependable, proactive and willing to learn and develop
• Flexible and adaptable to changing project demands
