Job summary

Etex in Bristol, United Kingdom, is hiring a Technical Advisor. This hybrid role combines office-based days (Tuesday to Thursday) with training and development, core hours 8:30–17:00, Monday to Friday.

You’ll answer technical questions, produce CAD drawings, review packs, and collaborate across the business to grow product know-how and fire-related performance. The position favours candidates with CAD experience, strong English, and an engineering background in construction or mechanical fields.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with CAD and producing technical drawings.
• Strong numeracy and ability to interpret technical data.
• Good command of English and clear written communication.

Responsibilities

• Answer technical questions from architects, installers and suppliers by phone and email.
• Produce technical drawings for systems and site conditions using CAD software.
• Check project packs and work with the external specification team.
• Work cross-functionally across the wider business.
• Learn our systems and products, including fire perspective aspects.
• Work with acoustics, thermal performance and pipe calculations, and system strength.
• Develop knowledge across product range through ongoing training.
