Job Title: Buyer (Construction)

Location: Woking, Surrey

Salary: DOE

The Role

We are seeking a Buyer to join a construction firm who are based in Surrey but have projects from Aylesbury to Horsham. We are looking to speak to construction Buyers ideally with some flat roofing experience, but general construction knowledge will be fine.

The Company

This company is a contractor who specialise in roofing, brickwork and scaffolding across the south east on large residential developments for clients who are top 10 housebuilders.

The role will require

• Negotiate contracts and T&Cs with suppliers
• Develop purchasing strategies
• Manage relationships with suppliers
• Work closely with site teams on the logistics and transportation of goods
• Keep up to date with new materials

Desired Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Construction Buyer
• Ideally good knowledge of flat roofing materials but not essential
• Must have a full UK driving licence
