Our client, a leading business in their field is seeking a Buyer to join them on a full‑time, permanent basis.

During an exciting period, our client is looking to add to their Purchasing team, seeking a Buyer with a minimum of 2 years' experience to join them on a full‑time, permanent basis.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, where you will be responsible for ensuring the on‑time delivery of parts and materials in line with agreed stock levels and schedule agreements.

The successful candidate MUST have previous SAP experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Progress purchase orders to facilitate customer on‑time delivery
  • Manage stock levels
  • Secure long‑term agreements with both local and national suppliers
  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers
  • Report on data and ensure internal systems are kept up to date
  • Continually review and analyse purchasing agreements to ensure cost effectiveness
  • Support in the budgeting, forecasting and oversight of finances within the procurement department
Key Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar Purchasing / Procurement role
  • Previous SAP experience is a MUST
  • Confident working both independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communicator, confident liaising with colleagues and clients of all levels
  • Excellent relationship‑building and negotiation skills
  • Consistently work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail at all times
