Job Overview

We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for a passionate individual to join the UK Support Function team. You will undertake specific responsibilities to support, prioritise and coordinate effective and efficient technical administrative support to the System Design Capability team. You will need to exhibit a high level of organisational skills, great team ethic and the ability to interface with people at all levels both internally and externally, whilst embracing innovative ways of working.

Responsibilities
  • Based at our Bristol office with the flexibility to travel to other UK sites.
  • Collation, distribution and management of general reviews – outputs, actions, observations.
  • Support the domain utilizing the Systems Engineering tool‑set, including:
    • Setting up projects.
    • Creating and maintaining user groups.
    • Managing permissions.
    • Issue resolution.
  • Support the Missile Design UK (MDUK) Capability Manager, in liaison with Function Heads, in the following activities:
    • Conduct MDUK Capability reviews.
    • Collation of strategic investment best practice guidance.
    • Creation of a MBDA engineering guidance (pilot with the wider Missile Design functions).
    • Division‑wide deployment of MDUK new‑starter process.
    • Supporting Technology Managers to understand how to prepare the division/business with new technologies.
  • Be a key member within the UK Support Function and participate in engagement activities.
  • Share best practice and knowledge within the UK Support Function and offer guidance and training to team members.
  • Participate in and progress on UK Support Function personal development initiatives – be accountable for own learning.
  • Any other ad‑hoc technical administration duties.

Benefits

Salary: Circa £35,000 depending on experience. Dynamic (hybrid) working: 2‑3 days per week on‑site. Security clearance: British Citizen. All successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS).
