A community healthcare organization in Shrewsbury seeks an Administrative Support Officer to deliver essential administrative support. The ideal candidate will have a degree level education, extensive IT skills, and experience in providing secretarial support to senior management. Responsibilities include coordinating diaries, preparing agendas, and responding to complex queries. The role offers both full-time and flexible work patterns with a salary ranging from £31,049 to £37,796 per annum.

The post holder will work as part of a team in delivering an effective service supporting the providing full and comprehensive administrative support covering all aspects of secretarial, administrative, organisational and operational initiatives. The post holder will also assist the General Managers and Service Managers across the Adult Community Division.

To co-ordinate diaries to ensure attendance at all relevant meetings and events.
Provide and support managers with a wide range of administrative and computer skills as well as maintaining a range of knowledge and understanding of procedures, protocols and functions including email management.
Prepare agendas, take minutes and distribute notes of meetings including typing up of group discussions and interviews as necessary, recording and follow-up actions as required.
Act as a point of contact for teams, dealing and responding effectively with complex queries from stakeholders and passing on relevant information to appropriate team members sensitively and autonomously.
Update and maintain data bases and/or spread sheets relevant to work area and propose new and improved reporting systems.
