This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Business Support team at Runways End Outdoor Centre.
Runway’s End is Hampshire County Councils first carbon neutral site and sits beside the Basingstoke Canal and boasts a wide range of adventure and environmental activities on land and water.
Our Business Support Assistant provides first point of contact for customers and visitors to the Centre. As part of a busy, flexible team you will provide an excellent and effective customer service, encouraging the use of our services by all our customers, supporting them through the bookings process and ensuring accurate and up to date records are maintained.
You will work flexibly across a broad range of administrative tasks, contributing to and supporting the delivery of a high-quality customer-focused business support service. You will be working as part of a larger team, liaising with operational colleagues, and supporting external customer enquiries.
This role will include very occasional evening and weekend work.
Ideally, you will possess excellent administration and organisational skills, have previous IT experience and have a background of working in a fast-paced office environment or alternately have an aptitude to learn and grow these skills.
Highly motivated and customer focussed, you will be able to work under pressure, approaching tasks with confidence and clarity and be able to work using your own initiative. You will need to be proactive and flexible in your approach and work as part of a team.
