Role Location

This is a Hybrid role, requiring weekly working from either our Bristol or Plymouth office.

About the Role

Are you ready to make an impact in a fast-paced, high-energy environment? As our Business Development Officer, you’ll be at the heart of our dynamic team, working closely with the Growth Manager to unlock new opportunities and drive ongoing business success. Working closely with our Business Growth Manager, you will provide support across the full sales lifecycle, initially in triaging opportunities identified through commercial frameworks and the bidding process, through to developing a pipeline of opportunities and direct customer engagement. You will have the autonomy to drive operational efficiency, ensuring data integrity, and enhancing processes that contribute to successful client relationships.

Key Responsibilities will Include

SpotandShareOpportunities : Manage and triage leads from diverse frameworks and procurement sources (Crown Commercial, Utilities, National Security & Defence, Transport, Health sectors) and connect them with the right teams.

KeepUsonTrack : Maintain accurate CRM data (Bigin / Netsuite) to ensure seamless tracking of leads, opportunities, and client interactions.

TurnDataintoInsights : Support the creation of sales reports, dashboards, and performance analytics that drives smarter decisions.

BuildthePipeline : Assist with forecasting and pipeline management to keep growth on target.

OwntheDetails : Coordinate bid communications, proposals, pricing, and contracts along side sales and legal teams.

MakeUsBetter : Monitor and improve internal sales processes and documentation for maximum efficiency.

BetheBackbone : Provide essential support to keep the sales team performing at its best.

The Fit

This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate in the early stages of their career with a relevant degree (e.g. Business, IT, Geography) who’s eager to pursue a career in Business Development and Account Management. If you’re analytical, detail-oriented, and excited by the intersection of business operations and technical consultancy, this role will give you the platform to grow, learn, and make a real impact.

Due to the industries we work in, we require the successful candidate to be able to obtain high level security clearance. To qualify for this, you must be a British citizen and have lived permanently in the UK for the last 5 years.

Why work for us?
