Responsibilities

Drive Strategic Growth: You’ll be at the forefront of identifying and developing new business opportunities for Lubrizol Fluid Engineering across Europe. This includes researching potential clients, crafting strategic approaches, and initiating meaningful conversations that lead to long-term partnerships.

Shape Market Entry: Develop compelling business cases for entering new markets and launching innovative products and services. Your insights will help prioritize opportunities that align with Lubrizol’s strategic goals and customer needs.

Build Customer Roadmaps: Create tailored customer development funnels and roadmaps that reflect a deep understanding of client needs and industry dynamics.

Foster Client Relationships: Establish and nurture strong, trust-based relationships with clients. Your ability to listen, understand, and respond will be key to ensuring satisfaction, loyalty, and mutual success.

Accelerate Revenue Growth: Design and implement strategies to grow sales through new account development. Your work will directly contribute to Lubrizol’s continued success and market leadership.

Analyze Market Trends: Stay ahead of the curve by monitoring industry developments, competitor activities, and emerging trends. Use strategic mapping to explore adjacent industrial spaces and uncover untapped potential.

Deliver Impactful Presentations: Target high-potential customers and deliver persuasive presentations and proposals that showcase Lubrizol’s value and innovation. Your efforts will help secure new accounts and expand our reach.

Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer service to ensure a seamless and aligned customer experience. Act as a vital conduit between our customers and internal teams, ensuring market trends are understood and acted upon.

Report Progress: Provide regular updates on business development activities, highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities for growth.

Lead Negotiations: Take the lead in contract negotiations, securing favorable terms while maintaining strong client relationships built on trust and transparency.

Represent Lubrizol: Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network, promote our solutions, and reinforce Lubrizol’s reputation as a trusted partner in fluid engineering.

What We Are Looking For

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is a strong plus.

Experience: Proven experience in B2B sales or business development within a relevant industry (e.g., Heat Transfer, Industrial Solutions). You understand the nuances of technical sales and can translate complex solutions into customer value.
