Job summary

Mitchell Maguire is recruiting a Business Development Manager for Building Envelope Solutions in Manchester. You will focus on promoting high quality envelope systems and services to designers, consultants, main contractors and housing providers.

The role is 80% new business and 20% account management, with site surveys as needed. Must have strong development experience in building envelope sectors, excellent communication skills, and IT literacy; a fast start is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have business development experience in the building envelope sectors (facades, cladding, rainscreen, curtain walling).
• Must have sold to designers, consultants, main contractors and housing providers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; IT literate.

Responsibilities

Job Title: Business Development Manager - Building Envelope Solutions

Industry Sector: Building Envelope, Facades, Cladding, Curtain Walling, Rainscreen, EWI, Waterproofing, Renders, Brickslips, Remediation, Area Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, Regional Sales Manager, Specification Sales Manager

Areas to be covered: North OR South (could offer a National role for the right candidate)

Remuneration: £50,000 - £70,000 doe + bonus tbc (car allowance will be built into the basic salary)

The role of the Business Development Manager - Building Envelope Solutions will involve:

• Business Development Manager position promoting high quality building envelope solutions / services
• All of your time will be spent selling to designers, consultants, main contractors and housing providers
• Turnover tbc depending on experience
• 80% new business / 20% account management
• Carrying out site surveys as and when required
