Job summary

Mitchell Maguire is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive sales of flat roof insulation across the North region (M62 corridor). The role involves selling to flat roofing manufacturers and roofing distributors, with a territory currently turning over £1.5m.

You will earn £50,000–£60,000 with uncapped commission and a company car, plus comprehensive benefits. IT literacy and field sales experience in related sectors are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have field sales experience in the building envelope, waterproofing, flat roofing, insulation or facades sectors.
• Experience selling to manufacturers and distributors is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Field sales position selling a manufactured range of flat roofing insulation.
• Allocate 70% of time to selling to flat roofing manufacturers.
• Remaining 30% to selling to roofing main & sub-contractors and roofing distributors such as Encon, Minster and SIG.
• Inherit a territory currently turning over £1.5m.
• Target projects include residential buildings, hotels, healthcare, education, etc.

The role of the Business Development Manager - Flat Roof Insulation will involve:

• Field sales position selling a manufactured range of flat roofing insulation
• 70% of your time will be spent selling to flat roofing / membrane manufacturers
• The remaining 30% will be spent selling to roofing main & sub-contractors and roofing distributors such as; Encon, Minster and SIG
• Inheriting a territory currently turning over £1.5m
• Typical projects include residential buildings, hotels, healthcare, education etc

The ideal applicant will be an Business Development Manager - Flat Roof Insulation with:

• Ideally sold to flat roofing manufacturers however not essential
