Job summary

Mitchell Maguire is seeking a Business Development Manager for Building Envelope Systems to drive external envelope projects across the UK, with emphasis on cladding, curtain walling and rainscreen.

The role targets main contractors and subcontractors, with turnover targets around £3-5m and typical project sizes of about £1m.

Remuneration £60,000-£80,000 with bonus (to be confirmed), company car or car allowance, and standard benefits; ideally based in the Northern Home Counties or South East.

Qualifications

• Must have business development experience in the building envelope, facades, cladding, rainscreen, curtain walling, fenestration sectors
• Must have sold to main contractors & sub-contractors
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Must be able to hit the ground running
• IT literate

Responsibilities

• Promoting the installation services of external envelope systems such as; cladding, SFS, curtain walling, rainscreen, windows & glazing
• All of your time will be spent selling to main contractors and sub-contractors
• Turnover target circa £3-5m
• Average project size are £1m
• Majority of your time will be spent generating new business
• Projects include; student accommodation, high-rise resident, affordable homes, office blocks and luxury homes

Areas to be covered: National (ideally based Northern Home Counties' / South East)

Remuneration: £60,000 - £80, 000 + bonus tbc
