Job summary

Mitchell Maguire is seeking a Business Development Manager for Building Envelope Systems covering national accounts, ideally based in the Northern Home Counties/Southeast. You will promote external envelope solutions to main contractors and sub-contractors, targeting projects around £1m and annual turnover of £3-5m.

The role demands strong communication, IT literacy, and a proven track record in the building envelope sector to drive new business with a consultative approach.

Qualifications

• Must have business development experience in the building envelope, facades, cladding, rainscreen and related sectors.
• Must have sold to main contractors and sub-contractors.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; IT literacy is required.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business and target turnover around £3-5m per project portfolio.
• Sell external envelope systems such as cladding, SFS, curtain walling and glazing to contractors.
• Manage relationships with main contractors and sub-contractors and contribute to project wins.

Areas to be covered: National (ideally based Northern Home Counties' / South East)

Remuneration: £60,000 - £80,000 + bonus tbc

Role

The role of the Business Development Manager - Building Envelope Systems will involve:

• Business Development Manager position promoting the installation services of external envelope systems such as; cladding, SFS, curtain walling, rainscreen, windows & glazing
• All of your time will be spent selling to main contractors and sub-contractors
• Turnover target circa £3-5m
• Average project size are £1m
• Majority of your time will be spent generating new business
• Projects include; student accommodation, high-rise resident, affordable homes, office blocks and luxury homes
