Job summary

Mitchell Maguire is seeking a Technical Sales Manager for Roofing & Waterproofing Systems to drive field sales nationally. You will engage roofing contractors, distributors, and specifiers, promoting a high quality range of roofing products and membranes.

The role blends account management with new business, with a remuneration package £50,000 negotiable plus £15,000 bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package including a company car or car allowance.

Qualifications

• Must have sold a similar building envelope or roofing solution such as guttering, roof tiles, insulation, flat or pitched roofing, cladding, facades.
• Must have sold to roofing contractors, flat roofing contractors, surveyors and roofing distributors/merchants.
• Ideally have contractors and specification experience.
• Genuine 'get up and go', hungry to earn and results orientated.

Responsibilities

• Field sales to roofing contractors and distributors across the national region.
• Balance account management with new business development.
• Target turnover circa £2.5-£3m as the role progresses.
• Build relationships with specifiers and contracting houses.

The role of the Business Development Manager - Roofing & Waterproofing Systems will involve:

• Field sales position selling a high quality range of roofing & waterproofing systems such as; single play membranes, felt systems, hot & liquid applied waterproofing, ancillary and accessories
• All of your time will be spent selling to roofing contractors, flat roofing contractors building surveyors and roofing distributors / merchants such as; Jewsons, MKM and IBNG
• As the role progressing looking at targeting specifiers and contractor
• Targeted to turnover circa £2.5-£3m
• Good blend of account management and new business

The ideal applicant will be an Business Development Manager - Roofing & Waterproofing Systems with:
