Overview

We are working exclusively with a well-established and reputable regional main contractor who are seeking a Business Development Manager to support their growth across the corridor between Reading, Oxford and Hertford. With a strong track record in delivering high-quality commercial, education, healthcare and residential schemes, they are now looking to strategically expand their pipeline across this key region.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and nurture new opportunities, build relationships with key decision makers, and work closely with internal teams to position the business as a partner of choice.
  • Develop frameworks, pre-construction opportunities, and negotiated projects with both public and private sector clients.
  • Drive business growth in targeted regions: Reading, Oxford, Hertford and surrounding areas.
  • Build and maintain relationships with consultants, developers, local authorities, and key clients.
  • Monitor market trends, tender opportunities, and regional pipelines.
  • Collaborate with estimating, commercial and pre-construction teams on bids and proposals.
  • Represent the company at industry events, networking sessions and strategic meetings.
