  • Proven B2B sales experience in financial services with strong IFA/intermediary relationships.
  • Excellent presentation/report writing skills; confident with figures and performance tracking.
  • Advanced PC skills (Microsoft Office, CRM databases, Teams/virtual media).
  • Educated to A level (or professional equivalent e.g., FPC); committed to ongoing development (CeMAP).
  • Full, valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel/stay overnight.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage accounts with mortgage intermediaries, delivering high‑quality completions and monthly targets.
  • Represent our brand at regional events, trade roadshows and exhibitions.
  • Ensure intermediaries understand our products, target market and criteria.
  • Build a data‑driven regional Sales Plan using CRM to manage activity and compile market intelligence.
  • Collaborate internally to improve quality and uncover opportunities.
  • Promote additional financial products where appropriate.
  • Always operate with FCA principles in mind.

📍 Location: UK East (frequent travel)

Ready to drive growth and build lasting broker relationships in the mortgage intermediary market? Kensington Mortgages is hiring a Business Development Manager to be the public face of our brand across the East.

Your patch: Cambridge, Chelmsford, Colchester, Ilford, Ipswich, Norwich, Romford, Southend‑on‑Sea.

What you’ll do
  • ✅ Develop and manage accounts with mortgage intermediaries, delivering high‑quality completions and monthly targets
  • ✅ Represent our brand at regional events, trade roadshows and exhibitions
  • ✅ Ensure intermediaries understand our products, target market and criteria
  • ✅ Build a data‑driven regional Sales Plan, using CRM to manage activity and compile market intelligence
  • ✅ Collaborate internally to improve quality and uncover opportunities
  • ✅ Promote additional financial products where appropriate
