Job summary

BMS Performance Ltd. is seeking a Business Development Manager to cover Scotland and the North East down to York.

You will win new business and grow key accounts across care homes, healthcare, education, prisons and emergency services. This consultative sales role has a 50/50 split between new business and account management and offers significant earning potential with uncapped commission and an electric company car.

Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Manager to join a growing division within an established business. Covering Scotland and the North East (down to York), you'll be responsible for winning new business and developing existing accounts across sectors including care homes, healthcare, education, prisons and emergency services.

This is a consultative, solution-led sales role with a 50/50 split between new business and account management. Around 70% of leads are generated by an established BDE team, allowing you to focus on building relationships, developing opportunities and closing deals.

Key Requirements

• Proven B2B field sales experience
• Track record of winning new business and growing accounts
• Strong consultative and value-based selling skills
• Ability to engage senior decision-makers
• Self-motivated with excellent territory management skills

Experience selling service contracts, recurring revenue solutions or into multi-site organisations would be advantageous but is not essential.
