Business Development Executive

SWAPX is a fast moving, innovative and agile Fintech business, which focuses on the pre-paid card programme management and payment space with products and technology that involve FX and Travel insurance. From providing a white labelled travel or general spend prepaid card for consumer focused brands to a range of business payment solutions offering convenience and control, we can develop the right solution for a wide range of businesses. We are entering a new phase of growth and are looking for innovative, self-starters to join our team to develop and grow the business with us. We want you to:

Responsibilities
  • Open client accounts from a cold start. The majority of contact will be via the telephone and must focus on introducing the benefits of the company and gaining client commitment.
  • Provide on-going support to all potential clients, providing market information and developing their understanding of the SWAPX for Business Platform. To strive for long term, business relationships and referral opportunities.
  • Organise and attend meetings with existing and potential clients at either their premises or our Corporate offices. To work in conjunction with other members of staff in presenting a professional image, in a face-face environment.
  • Collect and maintain relevant and accurate information that reflects client conversations, trading details and contact information.
Requirements / What you will possess
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience of cold calling B2B or customer service
  • Experience within the card payment industry, ideally in prepaid cards or electronic money, would be advantageous.
  • Business Development selling to UK corporates in the Financial Technology sector helpful
  • Highly motivated, a self-starter looking for a new and exciting challenge
  • Demonstrable evidence of high achievement
  • A willingness to learn
  • Highly PC literate with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
