Job summary

The Business Development Manager at Jodrell Bank Centre for Engagement (JBCE) drives earned income from venue hire, groups, filming and other revenue at the UNESCO site. You will lead sales and deliver the centre’s strategy for corporate meetings, events, weddings and group bookings.

You will build premium offers, lead the Events team, partner with Marketing and Catering, and track KPIs and budgets to support annual plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead sales activity and develop revenue across venue hire, groups, filming and other income streams.
• Develop premium commercial offers reflecting the JBCE location and facilities for corporate and group bookings.
• Line manage the Events Coordinator and Casual Event Assistants to deliver excellent client liaison and service.
• Set and track KPIs, monitor costs and budgets, and contribute to annual business plans for venue hire and income streams.
