A leading engineering consultancy seeks an experienced Program Manager for Business Transformation focused on site consolidation. This remote role entails managing multiple projects across Europe, requiring at least 5 years of experience in project management. The ideal candidate excels in stakeholder engagement, project delivery, and organizational skills, with expertise in MS Project and Power BI. Program Manager – Business Transformation (Site Consolidation) for one of our customers. 12‑month contract, Outside IR35, permanent placement possible, Remote (UK / Germany).
We are looking for an experienced Program Manager with at least 5 years of hands‑on experience leading site consolidation projects within an industrial environment. This role will coordinate and deliver multiple consolidation projects across Europe, including physical moves, equipment relocation, closure activities and customer communication. As we scale this activity across the BU, the Program Manager will also develop the Site Consolidation Playbook, defining our standard methodology, processes and best practices. The ideal candidate is structured, practical and comfortable driving pace in complex environments with multiple stakeholders at different levels of the company.
Build and manage detailed project plans, ensuring milestones, risks and dependencies are clearly defined. Maintain project pace and proactively address delays, obstacles and cross‑functional issues. Prepare regular status reports and present progress to the Business Transformation Director.
Coordinate the work of local project leads and ensure alignment across functions (operations, quality, IT, HR, finance, commercial, HSE, etc.).
Engage and influence senior local stakeholders (General Managers, Business Unit Leaders, Functional Leads). Facilitate clear and consistent communication throughout all project phases. Manage expectations and support change management activities at local and regional levels.
