We're offering a permanent role where you'll contribute to the development of applications that support some of the most vital public services. This is a high-impact opportunity to influence how integrations are built and delivered, ensuring the systems behind our schemes are efficient, secure and user-focused.
You will develop and support innovative applications, as well as taking part in the technical development of projects and implementing new technologies. There’s plenty of scope for application development, process improvement and shaping the way we work within an agile delivery environment.
This development role will also give you the chance to support colleagues, using your expertise to guide and mentor them, and step up and take on leadership activities for various projects.
We are seeking a candidate with extensive experience across various IT disciplines, demonstrating strong expertise in Microsoft Software Development. The ideal applicant will possess a solid understanding of relevant technologies and best practices, including but not limited to the following:
You will collaborate with colleagues across IT services to deliver innovative and effective digital solutions.
The department maintains an on-call rota to ensure continuous support for operational service needs, available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. This position may be included in the on-call rota, and the postholder will be expected to participate when required.
