Job description

We’re looking for a Business Analyst to join the tech team at Boots Digital Health. This opportunity allows you to work across a diverse landscape of applications and programmes.

Responsibilities

• Work with business and IT stakeholders and use a variety of techniques to define, capture and prioritise the backlog of requirements, creating user stories that include functional, non‑functional and IT operational requirements.
• Plan the business analysis work for projects by defining timescales, milestones and dependencies to ensure the work proceeds in an Agile or Waterfall manner.
• Collaborate within a delivery team on large or complex work, ensuring that vision, scope and requirements are aligned throughout the project.
• Support test teams and project managers in evaluating defects and prioritising them.
• Assist with UAT testing of products to verify that initial user stories are delivered by the solution.
• Represent the business/leadership team and their requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Promote processes that ensure adherence while maintaining pace.

What you’ll need to have

• Experience as a Business Analyst with confidence and passion to take accountability for projects of varying scale and inspire the implementation of outstanding solutions.
• Ability to manage influence, negotiate and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels in the business.
• Commitment to a collaborative understanding to deliver the best product for our customers.
• Capability to manage multiple project deadlines and deliverables simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills that enable you to explain your understanding to others when it is greater than theirs.
• Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall software delivery environments with a well‑rounded appreciation of IT delivery.

It would be great if you also have

• Experience working as a Product Owner, Product Manager or Agile Business Analyst.
• Experience in a project delivery environment.
• Recognised qualification in business analysis.
• Experience in Healthcare/HealthTech.
