Overview
Our client, a local property management firm, is looking for business administration apprentices. You will be involved in all facets of the business, from sales, facilities, operations, accounts, HR, health and safety and customer service. This role is vital to our business and support is given throughout.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the Directors with all things business-related
- Accounts support and administration
- Working with the Operations Team to ensure all requests are planned and carried out in a timely manner
- Reports are maintained, filed and billed correctly
- Responding to and fielding requests from multiple stakeholders
- Ensuring Health and Safety throughout
- Undertake some rudimentary marketing and content creation
- Skilled in the use of multiple IT packages and systems relevant to the organisation to write letters or emails, create proposals, perform financial processes, record and analyse data
- Produce accurate records and documents including emails, letters, files, payments, reports and proposals, and make recommendations for improvements
- Draft correspondence, write reports, review others\' work and maintain records and files while handling confidential information in compliance with organisational procedures
- Coach others in the processes required to complete these tasks
- Exercise proactivity and good judgment, make effective decisions, and seek advice when appropriate
- Build and maintain positive relationships within the team and across the organisation; develop coaching skills as area knowledge grows
- Demonstrate good communication skills across face-to-face, telephone, written and digital platforms; use appropriate channels and demonstrate agility and confidence in communications
- Complete tasks to a high standard and continuously seek process improvements; review processes autonomously and share administrative best-practice
- Takes responsibility for initiating and completing tasks, managing priorities and deadlines; manage resources and organise meetings and events; take minutes and create action logs; handle travel and accommodation logistics
- Use project management principles and tools to scope, plan, monitor and report; plan required resources and lead projects as required
Training Schedule
The successful applicant will complete and obtain a Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship through Vocate Training. Training details include:
- 4-6 weekly 1-2-1 sessions with your tutor
- 7.5 hours per week off-the-job training
- The course is a 12-18-month programme
