This role is to work in a short break Residential team, supporting adults with learning and physical disabilities within Longwood. The administrator plays a crucial role, liaising with families, carers, and other professionals, coordinating booking of nights, requesting transport to ensure smooth running of the home, as well as managing the front office and reception.
The Business Administrator at Longwood ensures that all admin related to the home is updated in line with monthly deadlines. This includes ordering goods, preparing monthly budget reports, occupancy bed returns, updating training records, etc.
The person in this role should have an understanding of working with adults with learning disabilities and be able to interact with service users in a respectful, dignified, and friendly manner.
The Opportunity
ECC Adult Social Care is moving towards a transformational shift from long-term care support to a model based on prevention, early intervention, enablement, and safeguarding. This aims to help people, their families, and carers access information and tools to live healthily and independently, responding proactively to growing service demand within financial constraints.
The Business Administrator will provide clerical, administrative, and financial support to residential services, ensuring effective financial management and health and safety monitoring. The role also involves maximizing the use of systems for good data collection.
