An exciting opportunity for a Building Surveyor to join a specialist surveying practice, focusing on Homebuyer and Building Surveys. The role offers flexible working, full support towards Chartership and ongoing professional development, all within a collaborative and close-knit team environment.

Are you an ambitious Residential/Building Surveyor looking for a new role? Are you looking for a close-knit, supportive working environment that will also enable you to have lots of autonomy?

This specialist building surveying practice is renowned for delivering high-quality Homebuyer and Building Surveys across the South West, from Bath to Plymouth. Working in partnership with a wide range of estate agents, their reputation has been built on the expertise and commitment of a small, dedicated team—earning them membership of the Residential Property Surveyors Association (RPSA). With record levels of work secured, the business is now looking to recruit two additional surveyors to support growth across their respective regions.

This is a home-based role covering the Bristol area, carrying out Homebuyer (Level 2) and Building (Level 3) surveys. From day one, you\'ll receive full support to help you settle into the business, along with excellent opportunities for further training and development—including guidance towards achieving Chartered Surveyor status.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience carrying out Homebuyer and Building Surveys, and will thrive in a small, close-knit business environment. You should be confident working independently after an initial training period, while also being a strong communicator who enjoys maintaining existing client relationships and developing new ones.

The Role

• Residential/Building Surveyor
• Home-based with travel across Bristol, Bath, Swindon & Gloucester for the completion of Homebuyer (Level 2) and Building (Level 3) surveys
• Maintain excellent relationships with existing and new clients
• Support with professional development, including Chartership

The Person

• Some experience in Homebuyer surveys (Level 2) and/or Building surveys (Level 3)
• Great communication skills with the ability to present information and reports
• Driving license
• Happy to work independently between home & site
