Job summary

A leading Lloyd’s brokerage is seeking a proactive Marine Broker Support professional to join their Hull & War team. In this role, you will work closely with brokers and underwriters to support the placement and servicing of global Marine clients. The ideal candidate has experience in Marine insurance, a strong understanding of Market processes, and excellent communication skills. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to key client activities and requires an organised approach within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in Marine insurance, ideally Hull, War, or broader Marine lines.
  • Strong understanding of Lloyd’s and London Market processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and confident handling of technical documentation.
  • Effective communication skills to build productive relationships.
  • Proactive, organised, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist brokers in making slips and endorsements.
  • Support the full broking process from submission to post-bind servicing.
  • Work with Lloyd’s and company Market underwriters.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to maintain client files.
  • Handle general administrative duties for the team.
  • Maintain awareness of Marine Market developments.

A leading Lloyd’s brokerage is seeking a proactive Marine Broker Support professional to join their Hull & War team within the International division. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced brokers and underwriters while supporting the placement and servicing of key global Marine clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist brokers in the preparation and production of slips, endorsements, and related Market documentation.
  • Support the full broking process from initial submission through to quoting, placement, and post-bind servicing.
  • Work closely with Lloyd’s and company Market underwriters, ensuring timely follow-up and smooth flow of information.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders, including technical teams and account handlers, to maintain accurate and up-to-date client files.
  • Handle general administrative duties to support the Hull & War team’s ongoing client and Market activity.
  • Maintain strong awareness of Marine Market developments and contribute to efficient team operations.
Skills & Experience Required
  • Previous experience in Marine insurance ideally Hull, War, or broader Marine lines is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of Lloyd’s and London Market processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and confident handling of technical documentation.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to build productive relationships with brokers, underwriters, and clients.
