Qualifications

• Experience with Eurocodes, British Standards and DMRB codes is essential.
• Ability to draft feasibility and detailed drawings using AutoCAD.
• Experience in undertaking Grillage or Finite Element Analysis (FEA) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and assess Highway or Rail Structures.
• Prepare construction documents such as Pre-Construction Information packs.
• Ensure compliance with CDM Regulations.

Skills

UK Experience within a public, private or third sector UK based client

Inspection, assessment, and maintenance of Highway or Rail Structures

Working knowledge of Eurocodes

Preparation of construction documents

Awareness of responsibilities under CDM Regulations

Full UK driving licence

Education

HND, HNC, BEng, MEng or equivalent in a relevant discipline

Experience required…

Essential :

• UK Experience within a public, private or third sector UK based client
• Experienced in inspection, assessment, and maintenance of Highway or Rail Structures.
• Working knowledge and application of Eurocodes, British Standards and the DMRB codes.
• Preparing construction documents such as Pre-Construction Information pack, Approval in Principals, Assessment reports, Design statements, specifications using the MCHW, cost estimates and risk assessments
• Awareness of responsibilities under the CDM Regulations.
• HND, HNC, BEng, MEng or equivalent in a relevant discipline
• Full UK driving licence

Desirable :

• Drafting feasibility or detailed drawings using AutoCAD.
• Worked on CAT2 and above bridge design or assessment.
• Experience in undertaking Grillage or Finite Element Analysis (FEA) modelling on analysis software.
• Experienced in contract and financial management
