Job summary

PLUMB CENTRE in South Yorkshire is recruiting a Team Supervisor to lead daily branch operations and supervise staff. You will support the Branch Manager, mentor colleagues, and drive customer-focused service at the trade counter while managing stock and contributing to sales growth.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising or leading a team and coaching staff.
• Strong customer-focused approach with a sales mindset.
• Experience handling stock control and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Branch Manager with day-to-day branch operations and act in charge when absent.
• Supervise colleagues, provide guidance and performance feedback to hit targets.
• Serve customers on the trade counter with product knowledge and advice.
• Grow the customer base and improve retention and satisfaction.
• Identify ways to improve branch profits and build supplier relationships.
• Perform general warehouse duties including goods in/out, picking and packing heavy stock.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
