Qualifications

• Previous industry or merchant experience preferred
• Face to face customer service/sales experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Willingness to step up to run the branch in the Branch Manager's absence

Responsibilities

• Assist the Branch Manager with day-to-day operations
• Supervise and support branch staff with guidance and feedback
• Serve customers on the trade counter with product knowledge
• Build rapport with customers and suppliers; respond to queries and process sales
• Handle general warehouse duties including goods in/out, picking and packing orders
• Occasional relief delivery driving (3.5 tonne van)
