Job summary

LKQ Europe GmbH in Canterbury is seeking a Duty Manager to lead daily operations across retail, warehouse and fleet. You’ll drive safety, service excellence and commercial performance while coaching a high-performing team.

Reporting to the Branch Manager, you’ll coordinate resources, monitor KPIs, manage stock, and ensure high standards of branch presentation and customer experience, with a focus on developing people and delivering tangible results.

Qualifications

• Experience in supervising or managing teams within retail, warehouse, logistics or distribution.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience leading, coaching and developing teams.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Experience managing KPIs and operational performance.
• Customer-focused mindset with drive to deliver outstanding service.
• Good knowledge of stock control and operational processes.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to influence business performance.
• Comfort working with operational systems and reporting tools.
• Flexible approach and ability to perform under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operation of the branch across retail, warehouse and fleet operations.
• Coordinate resources to ensure smooth, efficient operations and excellent customer service.
• Drive operational excellence by maintaining company standards, policies and procedures.
• Manage stock accuracy, inventory control and stock take activities.
• Ensure pick-to-manifest targets and customer service SLAs are met.
• Oversee returns, warranties and reverse logistics processes.
• Support Click & Collect and delivery operations.
• Ensure fleet compliance, vehicle readiness and operational efficiency.
