Job summary

Scrivens Opticians & Hearing Care seeks a Branch Manager to lead a busy optical and hearing care branch. You will inspire and support your team to deliver exceptional service, drive sales and maintain high professional standards in a customer-focused environment.

As a senior retail leader, you will manage operations, train staff, and collaborate with clinicians to ensure clinical excellence while building strong community relationships and upholding health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience as a retail manager, ideally in optics, audiology, or healthcare.
• Strong leadership, people management and communication skills.
• Basic IT skills and familiarity with point‑of‑sale systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate your team to deliver outstanding customer service.
• Manage branch operations, meet sales targets and drive growth.
• Oversee staff training, coaching and performance management.
• Ensure customers receive expert eye/hearing care advice.
• Oversee stock, compliance and day-to-day branch efficiency.
• Collaborate with optometrists and audiologists to maintain clinical excellence.
• Engage with the local community to build relationships.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and health and safety standards.
