Job summary

Nationwide in Watford is hiring a Customer Representative to support customers in branch, over the phone and online with clear, friendly guidance. You’ll help with everyday transactions, answer queries, and promote digital tools that make managing money easier.

This permanent, full-time role is 35 hours per week, Monday to Saturday, and requires a commute within 45 minutes of the branch. Training is provided and offers potential progression within a local banking team.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers into the branch and understand their needs to offer trusted, friendly help with banking
• Handle a range of transactions and queries accurately, keeping customer needs, security and fairness in mind
• Guide customers through banking products and services that are right for them, helping them manage their money with confidence
• Work closely with colleagues within a busy branch environment, supporting one another to deliver excellent customer service
• Take responsibility for doing things the right way, following processes and escalating concerns when needed to protect customers and Nationwide
• Keep face-to-face banking meaningful and accessible on the high street, helping customers feel supported, respected and confident in their banking
