Job description
Overview

We have an opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Female Brain Injury Support Worker to join our team in Whitchurch, Shropshire. Our client is in her late teens and, after suffering a road traffic accident in infancy, struggles with executive function, processing, memory, attention, fatigue & mood problems. Despite this, she is an active young lady who loves horses.

The successful applicant will need to be comfortable with horses as well as know how to swim. The support worker will also need to have a full UK driver7;s license with access to their own vehicle.

Pay and Working Hours

Pay Rate: £15-16 per hour

Working Hours:

  • 1 afternoon per week 2pm – 6pm
  • Alternate Saturdays 10am – 4pm
Key Responsibilities
  • Engaging with personalised routines.
  • Completing daily living activities, including personal hygiene and mobility.
  • Administering medication and monitoring health conditions.
  • Providing emotional support and companionship.
  • Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in clients’ conditions.
  • Collaborating with a range of healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.

Training & Background Checks

An enhanced DBS check & full training will be provided prior to commencing work with our client and you will also be supported by our clinical lead nurse for the area.
