Job summary

The Bedford Hotel Belfast is seeking a Night Guest Service Assistant to join its boutique team and support overnight operations. You will assist with check-in/check-out, guest queries, safety checks, and night audit activities, while maintaining the hotel’s high service standards.

With a focus on exceptional hospitality, you will work as part of a small team, handle late-night enquiries, and contribute to a smooth handover between day and night shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous night role experience is advantageous.
• High standard of customer service and communication.
• Familiarity with property management systems (OPERA) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist manager on duty with overnight operations and handovers.
• Welcoming guests, handling check-in/check-out and late-night enquiries.
• Maintain safety and security protocols across the shift.
• Assist with cash handling and night audit procedures as needed.
• Ensure compliance with H&S regulations and hotel standards.
• Support food and beverage service overnight when required.
• Carry out cleaning duties and prepare spaces for the next day.
