Overview

MacKenzie King are recruiting a Bookkeeper for a well-known local business, based in Woodbridge, to take ownership of the accounting function. As a Bookkeeper, you will have strong communication skills, be able to work autonomously, and have a good working knowledge of Sage 50.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Sales ledger
  • Purchase ledger
  • Credit control
  • Completion of accounts to trial balance
  • Nominal journals
  • Liaising with external auditors
  • Quarterly VAT returns
  • Collate payroll data
  • Communicate the company’s position to the Directors
Key Skills & Attributes
  • AAT Qualified or Qualified by Experience
  • Experience on Sage 50
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience in a similar role
