A leading recruitment agency is seeking a Bodyshop Manager for an established Accident Repair Business in Mid Devon. The successful candidate will manage a team responsible for vehicle repairs, ensuring high standards and customer satisfaction. Experience in a similar role, as well as health and safety expertise, is essential. The position offers competitive compensation of up to £60,000 plus bonuses, and benefits include pension contributions and a health cash plan.

Up to £60,000 (depending on experience) + Bonus
Full Time and Permanent – Monday to Friday, no weekends
Our client is a well-established Accident Repair Business with a number of Bodyshops across the UK.
You will be responsible for managing our client's team at their Mid Devon Site that will carry out repair work for a range of vehicles. The onsite team includes paint sprayers, panel beaters, MET technicians, estimators and all administrative staff. You will understand the business needs, accounts, reports and KPIs, effectively manage site resources and costs to optimise capability and profitability, and actively and efficiently manage work provider and supplier relationships.
You will handle customer issues and ensure timely prioritisation for interviewing to fill open vacancies swiftly.
You will plan your workload effectively to ensure vehicles are ready to agreed timescales; work skillfully and safely under pressure and carry out work in accordance with manufacturers’ specifications.
You ideally have prior experience as a Bodyshop Site Manager with expertise in health and safety protocols, ensuring these measures are consistently adhered to.
You can lead and work as part of a team as well as on your own initiative with minimal supervision, be flexible in your approach and consistently meet high standards with customer satisfaction in mind.
You have the ability to motivate your team to achieve daily, weekly and monthly site targets.
Our client is ideally looking for an experienced Bodyshop Manager but is also happy to consider a Senior VDA or a Bodyshop Workshop Controller who are looking to progress to Bodyshop Manager.
Candidates must have a full and valid driving licence.
