BMS Engineer

City of London

Up to £70,000

An exciting opportunity for a BMS Engineer to work for a privately owned business within their in-house maintenance team, covering a commercial property portfolio across the City of London. Being an in-house position, this role offers a highly competitive salary along with benefits that are becoming increasingly rare in the industry.

You will ensure the BMS in each building is optimised for performance, identify faults on BMS and controls systems, and implement energy‑saving strategies across the portfolio via the BMS system.

Experience
  • Strong experience within the controls industry, along with familiarity with motor control centres, control panels, wiring diagrams, and input / output schedules
  • Experience with Building Management Systems, PLCs, electronic controls, and instrumentation, including Trend & Siemens systems
  • Understanding of communication systems and cabling (Ethernet, fibre, copper, serial, wireless)

  • Changing Controllers
  • Head Ends
  • Valves
  • Networking
HMIs Requirements
  • HND or equivalent technical qualification in BMS, Electronic Controls, or Instrumentation
  • Incorporated or Chartered Engineer status (or working towards)
  • Trend or Siemens accredited
  • 963 Supervisor
  • IQSet

No driving licence required
