Job Summary
Learnd is seeking a skilled BMS Commissioning Engineer to join our Smart Buildings team. The ideal BMS Engineer will have certification and hands‑on experience with Trend or Siemens systems. The role involves commissioning BMS projects nationally, ensuring all systems are installed, tested, and functioning according to specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Commissioning and Testing
- Conduct detailed commissioning of BMS systems, including HVAC and lighting assets
- Ensure all BMS components are installed and operational as per the project specifications and design documents.
- Perform thorough testing and validation of BMS systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.
- Identify and troubleshoot any issues during the commissioning phase, providing effective solutions.
Technical Expertise and Support
- Utilize Trend or Siemens Systems expertise to configure, program, and test BMS components.
- Provide technical support and guidance to installation teams and subcontractors.
- Collaborate with the project team to ensure seamless integration of BMS systems with other building services.
Documentation and Reporting
- Prepare and maintain detailed commissioning documentation, including test reports, checklists, and as‑built drawings.
- Regular reporting on commissioning progress, issues, and resolutions to the Project Manager and Commissioning Manager.
- Ensure all documentation is up‑to‑date and accurately reflects the commissioned systems.

Physical Requirement
- Ability to travel to various project sites nationally
