Immunocore is seeking a Senior Scientist I - Characterisation in Oxford, UK, to lead analytical work on biologics as part of the CMC team. You will apply peptide mapping (LC-MS/MS) and mass spectrometry to characterise drug substances and products, ensuring quality and regulatory readiness.

You will develop and validate analytical methods, drive project priorities, and mentor junior staff while collaborating with R&D, manufacturing, and QA teams to support clinical programs and product

Qualifikationen

• Experience in development of HPLC based peptide mapping methods and MS characterisation of recombinant proteins or antibodies.
• Glycosylation analysis of recombinant proteins or antibodies.
• Independently coordinated extensive testing of protein biomolecules.
• Characterisation of proteins expressed in microbial and mammalian systems.
• Understanding of expected post-translational modifications in biological systems.
• Bench-based biopharmaceutical laboratory experience.
• Expertise in electrophoretic, chromatographic, or mass spectrometry methods.

• Characterise drug substances and products using peptide mapping and MS methods.
• Develop and refine characterisation methods for biologics.
• Design and execute biochemical characterisation, stability and comparability studies.
• Contribute to study protocols and reports; present findings to teams and partners.
