Job summary

BAM UK & Ireland is recruiting a BIM Coordinator to join the HS2 Track infrastructure project. The role supports the Rail System Alliance ProjectWise and Information Manager in CAD information and data-structures tasks, acting as SME for the RSA CAD and graphical software ecosystem.

Based in London or Birmingham, you will develop, implement and maintain BIM standards, templates and workflows, ensure data quality and manage information sharing across the contract with contractors and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working within Common Data Environments (CDEs), including ProjectWise (PWise) and iTwin.
• Strong proficiency with CAD/BIM authoring tools: MicroStation, Revit, OpenRoads/OpenRail, and Navisworks.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary design information and resolving issues using coordination platforms and BIM standards.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME for CAD/BIM information management and provide technical guidance and training to project teams.
• Ensure information is produced, shared, published and assured in line with Rail System Alliance and HS2 requirements.
• Coordinate Contractor BIM Execution Plans and align with Rail System Alliance objectives.
• Support data structures, information workflows, CDE administration and ProjectWise environments.
• Develop and promote information management standards, templates and workflows across the project.
• Carry out QA checks on CAD/BIM deliverables for accuracy, compliance and governance.
