  • Develop and implement BIM Execution Plans in line with project requirements.
  • Manage the Common Data Environment for all project information.
  • Coordinate BIM workflows among design, engineering, and construction teams.
  • Ensure data integration and model validation during the project lifecycle.
  • Provide training on BIM processes to internal teams and partners.
  • Monitor compliance with BIM protocols and report progress to management.
  • Drive continuous improvement in digital construction methodologies.

Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced BIM Coordinator to support a major nuclear project. This key role ensures the successful implementation and management of Building Information Modelling (BIM) processes across a highly complex and regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement BIM Execution Plans (BEP) in line with project requirements and ISO 19650 standards.
  • Manage and maintain the Common Data Environment (CDE) for all project information.
  • Coordinate BIM workflows between design, engineering, and construction teams.
  • Ensure accurate data integration and model validation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide training, guidance, and support to internal teams and supply chain partners on BIM processes and tools.
  • Monitor compliance with BIM protocols and deliver regular progress reports to senior management.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation in digital construction methodologies.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a BIM Coordinator or similar role within large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of BIM standards (ISO 19650) and digital construction best practices.
  • Proficiency in BIM software platforms (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, Bentley, or similar).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to lead and influence multidisciplinary teams in a collaborative environment.
  • Experience within nuclear, energy, or highly regulated sectors is advantageous.
The setting for the role

This is office based but you may visit the Nuclear site if required where a full site induction will be required.
