Overview
The opportunity to lead the coordination and delivery of structured, high‑quality T Level and educational placements across Tilbury Douglas project sites and offices. This role plays a key part in achieving our Social Value commitments under our ESG strategy.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage T Level industry placement programmes across project sites.
- Act as primary liaison with colleges, training providers, and placement students.
- Ensure placements are structured, safe, and aligned with curriculum and industry standards.
- Support regional Social Value teams with coordination and delivery of placements.
- Co‑ordinate site visits, work experience, career talks and workshops with schools and colleges.
- Support Tilbury Douglas teams in delivering consistent, high‑quality educational engagement.
- Develop resources and case studies to showcase impact.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with FE colleges, schools and industry partners.
- Support project teams in mentoring and supervising students.
- Act as point of contact for queries relating to educational placements.
- Ensure all placements comply with safeguarding and health & safety requirements.
- Monitor and track performance against agreed social value and ESG targets.
- Prepare reports and evidence for client frameworks, audits and internal governance.
- Identify opportunities to improve the quality and impact of educational engagement.
- Share best practice across projects and regions.
- Support innovation in digital delivery and blended learning approaches.
Qualifications
- Experience coordinating work placements, apprenticeships or education programmes.
- Knowledge of T Level structure and industry placement.
- Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with internal teams and external partners.
- Understanding of safeguarding, health & safety and compliance in an educational setting.
- Commitment to social value, diversity and inclusion.
- Flexibility to travel regularly across the UK.
