Qualifications

  • Experience with clash detection and coordination using Navisworks.
  • Skilled in interpreting MEP schematics and fabrication drawings.
  • Ability to deliver projects from pre-construction to handover.

Responsibilities

BIM Coordinator

Midlands, Full Time Permanent

Monday to Thursday from 8am to 5pm and Friday from 8am to 3pm

£38,000 - £48,000 DOE

An exciting opportunity to join a leading provider of offsite-prefabricated and sustainable building service solutions across the UK and Europe. Specialising in turnkey energy centres and district heating systems, the company delivers innovative prefabricated packages to a wide range of public and commercial clients.

Role Overview

The BIM team plays a pivotal role in delivering accurate, coordinated, and data-rich 3D models throughout the design, construction, and installation phases. Working closely with engineers, project managers, and site teams, the department ensures all mechanical and electrical services are fully integrated and clash‑free—reducing risk, improving efficiency, and enhancing collaboration across stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage coordinated MEP models in Revit and Navisworks
  • Integrate architectural and structural elements for clash‑free, buildable solutions
  • Lead model coordination workshops with consultants, suppliers, and site teams
  • Manage the Common Data Environment (CDE) for version control and structured data
  • Prepare LOD500 fabrication‑ready models, drawing packs, and spool drawings
  • Liaise with site teams to validate installations and update models with redlines
  • Deliver accurate as‑installed models for commissioning and handover
  • Use BIM data to track embodied carbon, materials, and energy strategies
Skills & Experience
  • Proficiency in Revit MEP (family editing, worksets, filters, model management)
  • Skilled in Navisworks Manage for clash detection and coordination
  • Ability to interpret MEP schematics and fabrication drawings
  • Experience delivering MEP projects from pre‑construction to handover
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines across multiple projects
  • Experience producing fabrication‑level models and drawings for offsite manufacturing
