Ridge and Partners is a growing, multi-discipline built environment consultancy helping clients create better more sustainable places for people to live, learn, work and play.

As part of our continued growth, we are looking for an Assistant Social Value Bid Writer to join our busy Social Value Team. This role will ideally suit an early‑career professional with experience of supporting the writing of bids, case studies or formal reports and with an interest in social value, ESG and / or sustainability issues.

The successful candidate will provide support to our Social Value Copywriter and Social Value Project Consultants in the creation of top‑scoring responses to social value questions within bids. They are likely to be a talented writer and team player with a desire to make a difference, an influential collaborator with the ability to lead on major opportunities, guide technical teams, and bring structure and consistency to high‑value submissions.

What you’ll do:

• Prepare and write structured and persuasive responses to social value questions within bids.
• Review ITTs.
• Support our small team of Social Value Project Consultants with the drafting of social value programme proposals in line with client priorities and researched community needs.
• Use our social value platform to create impact forecasts for bids.
