Job summary

Project Four in Liverpool is seeking a Bid Coordinator to manage the end-to-end bid process for our Building Safety Act projects. You will convert technical input into clear, compliant submissions and ensure on-time delivery from opportunity to submission.

You will own the bid lifecycle, build a content library, and coordinate cross-functional input from our technical teams to strengthen proposals. This role offers an office-based environment with opportunities for travel to other offices.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating bids, tenders or proposals.
• Experience of formal tender processes and online procurement portals.
• Clear, concise, persuasive writing in plain UK English, with editing and proofreading.
• Manage several bids at once against fixed deadlines.
• Chase input from senior colleagues and ensure deadlines are met.
• Strong Microsoft 365 skills (Word/Excel/SharePoint).
• Desirable: bidding in construction, procurement acts knowledge, bid libraries, CRM software.

Responsibilities

• Monitor tender portals and frameworks; prepare short opportunity summaries.
• Maintain a bid pipeline tracker with deadlines, owners and outcomes.
• Break down tender documents and create a bid plan for each submission; chair kick-off meetings.
• Track requirements on a compliance matrix; raise clarification questions.
• Draft, edit and tailor responses to scoring criteria.
• Organise internal reviews; perform final compliance checks; submit on time.
• Build and maintain a central bid library with content and expiry dates.
• Request feedback on bids and report win rates to leadership.
