Bench Joiner

We are looking for a reliable and skilled Bench Joiner to join our well established client. The role involves the manufacture and assembly of components in a workshop environment, working from drawings and specifications to produce high-quality finished products.

Job Duties:

• Manufacture and assemble joinery items in the workshop
• Read and work from technical drawings and specifications
• Use hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely
• Prepare materials including solid timber and sheet materials
• Assemble, fit, and finish joinery components to required standards
• Carry out basic quality checks on completed work
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times
• Work as part of a team to meet production schedules

Requirements:

• Completed apprenticeship in joinery
• Previous experience as a bench joiner or similar role
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Good knowledge of woodworking tools and machinery
• Attention to detail and quality-focused approach
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Salary: £15.00 - £15.50 per hour + overtime.
