Overview

Behaviour Support Worker – Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. Immediate Start. Full Time. £85- £100 per day.

Are you passionate about supporting young people to overcome barriers and reach their full potential? This Behaviour Support Worker role offers an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people in a specialist SEN school.

About the school

The school supports children and young people aged 5-11 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs, many who have faced trauma, present challenging behaviour or have early experiences of neglect.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting and assisting students with behaviour and emotional regulation in and out of the classroom.
  • Building positive, trusting relationships to encourage engagement and progress.
  • Working collaboratively with teachers, educational therapists, and external professionals to deliver consistent support.
  • Promoting positive behaviour strategies inside and outside the classroom.
  • Helping to create a safe and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued.
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Experience is preferred but not essential - training is provided.
