A reputable education support agency is seeking a Behaviour Support/Mentor to provide guidance and support to students in Sheffield schools. The role involves working closely with teaching staff to enhance students' emotional and behavioural development. GSL Education are looking for a patient, calm, and supportive Behaviour Support/Mentor to work within secondary schools across the S2 and S3 postcodes. This role is ideal for someone who can build positive relationships and provide guidance to students who need extra support to stay focused and succeed in school.
You will play an important part in creating a stable and encouraging environment, working closely with teaching staff and pastoral teams to help students develop confidence, self-control, and better learning habits.
Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection, and successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks, including providing an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service or completing an application for a new check.
