Job summary

Engage Education is supporting a forward-thinking mainstream secondary school in the Rochdale Heywood area to recruit a Behaviour Support Mentor. The role focuses on supporting KS3 and KS4 students with SEMH needs through 1:1 and small group sessions.

You'll deliver engaging learning experiences, monitor progress and tailor support outside of class. A 2:2 UK degree and SEMH experience are essential for applying.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2:2 UK based degree.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group academic support for KS3 & KS4 students with SEMH needs.

Perticularly looking to progress into a career in Behavioural Psychology, and want to gain first-hand school based experience supporting KS3 & KS4 students with SEMH needs?

Behaviour Support Mentor - Role Information

• Supporting KS3 & KS4 students with SEMH needs
• Creating engaging learning experiences across variety of subjects
• Conducting tailored support outside of class setting
• Monitoring progression and combatting weak-points
• Monday to Friday role - October 2026 to July 2026
• Paid £94 to £100 per day during-term time
