We are seeking to appoint a committed and empathetic individual to support our high standards of behaviour for learning at Hanley Castle High School. The successful candidate will work within the Ready to Learn Room, providing short-term support to students who require time out or reflection due to not meeting classroom conduct expectations. This role involves fostering a calm, purposeful environment where students can re-establish positive behaviours, working closely with the Ready to Learn Room Manager and the wider pastoral team.
There is potential for this role to take on broader involvement in pastoral provision within the school in the next academic year.
37 hours per week, 8.30am – 4.30pm Monday‑Thursday, 8.30am‑4.00pm Friday (includes a 30‑minute unpaid lunch break). Permanent. Term‑time only plus 8 Professional Development Days.
Scale 4, SCP7-11 FTE, £25,584 - £27,269 FTE, depending on skills and experience. Pro‑rated to £22,680 - £24,173 per annum.
